Keep visible surfaces, fit-up requirements and mounting details connected to the part list. A display panel and a concealed support may need very different specifications.
Describe what people will see
Identify the visible face, required finish, grain direction and any protective-film requirement. Provide a finish reference when appearance matters; a material name does not define the finished look.
Separate blanks from finished parts
List cut blanks with their dimensions. If holes, bends, joining, coatings or other operations are needed, describe them as additional requirements for review. Include how the pieces fit together without assuming those processes are included.
Bring the site into the brief
Share the intended environment, installation constraints and delivery milestone. Carry design-approved material and dimensional requirements into the request.
