Define the batch
Separate one-time setup pieces, production quantity and spares. If quantities may change, state which quantity is firm and which alternatives you want reviewed.
Identify consistency requirements
List any requirements for traceability, material documentation, lot grouping, part identification or inspection. Their availability and scope need confirmation with the quote.
Keep revision changes visible
When a dimension or material changes, update both the list and drawing revision. Include a brief change note so the reviewer can distinguish the new request from a previous version.
