Organize a workshop cut list around the next operation: a plate to machine, a bar to cut further, or a sheet blank to form. Describe the input material you actually need at that step.
Allow for your process
Identify any machining allowance and specify the required material condition. Where orientation, straightness or flatness matters to your setup, state the requirement separately.
Keep every piece identifiable
Give distinct sizes their own lines and use part names that match your drawing or job sheet. If extra blanks are needed for setup, include them in the quantity.
Prepare for receipt
Use the weight tool for planning and explain any receiving constraints in the project notes. Confirm final dimensions, condition and delivery arrangements through the quote review.
